Volunteers are needed to share their skills and expertise as a facilitator or recorder for the Round Table Sharing on Thursday, January 28 from 12-1:30pm at the MLGSCA/NCNMLG Joint Meeting. The Round Tables provide an opportunity to share experiences, learn about engaging new ideas, and connect with your colleagues, all while enjoying lunch. The Round Tables are open to conference attendees at no additional cost.
Although experience in a topic is not necessary, enthusiasm is! So if you are passionate about a topic and would like to share that enthusiasm with others, please consider volunteering. Duties for facilitators include initiating discussion, encouraging participation and collecting evaluations. Duties for recorders include documenting the discussion for posting on the Chapter Council website. Facilitators and recorders earn one AHIP point for completing these activities.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email Brooke Billman at brooke.billman@ahsl.arizona.edu and include the topic you are interested in, a second choice topic, and whether you’d like to be a facilitator or recorder.
Topics include:
- Copyright Issues
- EFTS – Everything You’ve Always Wanted to Know & MORE!
- Evidence Based Practice

- Management of Electronic Resources
- Marketing Yourself and the Library
- Networking Within Your Organization and the Community
